A forklift operator was working in shipping and receiving trying to lift a 350 lb. roll of linoleum when he felt a ‘click’ in his upper back (thoracic spine). That ‘click’ required an instrumented spinal fusion, including screws and rods, to repair his thoracic spine. Even though the worker was fairly young, Our Team was able to secure an award for him of $201,600 (75% of total disability).
