As part of her job responsibilities, an accounting clerk at a chemical plant was required to walk through the chemical plant to answer phones during the regular operators’ lunch. Although the exposure was only for a period of 2 years, and further limited to 5 days a week, 1½ hours each day, Our Team was able to hold the employer responsible for her asbestos exposure, ensure that all medical bills were paid, and secure an award of dependency benefits and funeral expenses for her husband totaling $239,384.
