A construction worker was injured when he slipped off of a roof and fell. The injured worker was later prescribed pain medications that killed him due to an accidental overdose. Our Team was able to show the court that the prescription of pain killing drugs like fentanyl, morphine, and oxycodone was related to the work injury and entitled the worker’s son to dependency benefits. Our Team secured the surviving child an initial award of $415,558, with the potential to add another $193,600 if the child attended college.
