A worker who spent the majority of his working life as a carpenter and general maintenance worker experienced long-term occupational exposure to asbestos. At the age of 69, he was diagnosed with mesothelioma and died 2 years later. Despite having a long work history with various employers, Our Team was able to show that he was exposed to asbestos while working in/on buildings constructed before 1981. Our Team was able to secure a lump sum settlement of $75,000 for the injured worker’s widow.
