Our Story: A Legacy of Workers’ Advocacy
Founded in 1972 by Craig H. Livingston and Frank DiMarzio, our firm has been a steadfast ally of Local 736 of the United Auto Workers at the New Departure Division of General Motors.
When faced with a plant closure, our team helped save hundreds of union jobs through Employee Stock Ownership Plans (ESOPs).
Craig Livingston spearheaded 15+ ESOP leveraged buyouts, preserving jobs in struggling industries—many of which continue to thrive today.
Over the years, we have proudly represented IUE/CWA workers, United Steelworkers, Chemical Workers, and the NJ State Council of Machinists in their fight for justice.
Anthony graduated from The Rutgers School of Law – Camden in 1999, following a career in Management and Information Systems.Subsequent to law school, Anthony served as Judicial law clerk for The Honorable Glenn A. Grant (Retired) in Newark, NJ.
Anthony’s Judicial Clerkship was followed by a 14-year career as in-house trial counsel for a major insurance company, defending Personal Injury and workers’ compensation claims.
It was during this time that Anthony developed a respectful though adversarial relationship with one of the firm’s founding partners, Craig Livingston.
After leaving corporate insurance defense, Anthony joined Livingston and DiMarzio in 2017, and now utilizes his knowledge of how insurance companies operate and strategize to help maximize medical and financial benefits for injured workers.

In 2003, Craig Livingston co-founded the New Jersey Committee on Safety and Health (NJ COSH)—a professional organization of lawyers and doctors dedicated to protecting injured workers.
Pro-Worker Legislation – NJ COSH has successfully championed multiple pro-worker laws that have been enacted in New Jersey.
No Takeaways from Injured Workers – Since the creation of NJ COSH, no legislative rollbacks have weakened New Jersey’s workers’ compensation system.
Leadership in the Field – Frank DiMarzio now serves as Vice President of NJ COSH, continuing our firm’s mission of fighting for workers’ rights.
